1.  Copenhagen. Rated one of the world’s most livable cities, the metropolis of nearly two million people is known for advanced environmental policies and planning, with its goal to be carbon-neutral by 2025 and Cleantech Cluster of more than 500 companies. City infrastructure is designed to be conducive to bicycling and walking rather than cars.


2. Amsterdam. Everyone rides bicycles in Amsterdam and has been doing it for decades. 1. Η Δημόσια Βιβλιοθήκη του Cambridge σχεδιάστηκε το 1889 αλλά το μέγεθός του δεν ήταν επαρκές για τους 2.000 καθημερινούς επισκέπτες του. Έτσι, δημιουργήθηκε μια ακόμη πτέρυγα 76.000 τετραγωνικών ποδιών η οποία είναι γυάλινη, δημιουργώντας ένα τεράστιο, ανοιχτό και φιλόξενο χώρο για όλους.

2.Το Εθνικό Ναυτικό Μουσείο στη Δανία, φιλοξενούνταν στο Κάστρο Kronberg στο Έλσινορ ωστόσο, έπαψε πια να βρίσκεται εκεί και έτσι αυτό ήταν η αφορμή για να αλλάξει και ο εσωτερικός του χώρος. Πλέον βρίσκεται δίπλα από μια άδεια δεξαμενή, σχηματίζοντας μια πολυεπίπεδη σχεδίαση η οποία περιλαμβάνει μικρά μονοπάτια.

3. Το State Capitol στο Σπρίνγκφιλντ του Ιλινόις χτίστηκε την περίοδο 1868-1888 από τον Γάλλο αρχιτέκτονα Alfred Piquenard. Η δυτική του πλευρά ανακαινίσθηκε πλήρως πρόσφατα και το κτίριο έχει και πάλι την παλιά του αίγλη.
